Payroll Pro demonstrates it’s power in Bonaire
As per October 1st 2011 taxes have changed in the BES islands.
One of the most important changes that you should be aware of is the change of ABB. Bonaire goes from 8 to 6%.
Not per January 1st 2012, as some were saying, but October 1st. 2011
Nobody in Bonaire is/was aware of this. Not the best communication by the government, sorry for saying that.
The Payroll Pro team of AS Aruba and VCC International went to Bonaire on September 29th and 30th to implement changes in Payroll Pro for all our customers.
The Dutch government decided on September 23rd to implement a lot of changes in the taxes for the BES islands, that would be applicable as per October 1st.
For Payroll this was the “basis-aftrek”, the “kinder-aftrek” and the “ouderentoeslag”.
The biggest frustration of the people of Bonaire is the fact that it was not communicated in the papers. If not for our email to our clients, they would not have known. It was only announced in the official “staatscourant” of Sept 27th. Edition number 17540, and on October 1st. in the local newspapers. But it is already active as of October 1st also......
We only received a heads-up email of what was possibly coming one week earlier (15th).
This is off course a strange ad-hoc action by the government, leaving us less than two weeks to
A. plan
B. execute
C. test
D. distribute
But, we succeeded in time and we made an enormous impression.
We were running around in Bonaire with a total of 10 people for two days to do all the upgrades.
7 people from Aruba
1 person from Curacao
2 people from St.Maarten
And even better, our clients were delivered an important update even before most of them realized they needed it.
This is a display of power by the Payroll Pro team that our competition can not match, so we are sure it will result in new sales....

Exact Globe voted most popular software (again)
During the month of August a survey was held to examine what software package is considered as the best financial package.
Again, like last year, Exact came forward as absolute winner. Exact won more votes than all other packages together.
The survey was conducted via Linked-In, a social media website that focuses on business professionals.
